I've managed to knock off my rear view mirrow. It seems it was glued in place somehow. I've tried using ARALDITE Super Glue and gaffer tape to secure the mirror in place but I may as well but using prit stick. The problem is that there is nowhere I can see to clamp the thing down to allow for the glue to dry, does anyone have any experience/ideas?

looks good, should I get the glue or the pads? I want it to be a solid contact and minimum of fuss!

edit : on second thoughts, I'll get both :) knowing my luck.

Ok I went with the glue and gauss stuff. Attached the mirror yesterday and it stuck ok within a minute so I left it overnight and it's now rock solid. The glue+gauss really does the trick, much better than I expected. I would certainly recommend this way of attaching the mirror if anyone else needed to. :)
