Really angry - someone has jsut scratched my car!!!!

Let the two tyres which are over the line down. Not fully, but enough to notice from a distance. This will be enough for them to be annoyed over, waste some cash and there's no real damage.

Repeat until they learn to park properly.
 
Hang on, I don't get it. The pug parked badly therefore that makes them number one suspect for keying your car?

Sorry to hear that your car has been damaged but don't do something silly especially if you aren't 100% sure who was to blame.
 
If future I wouldn't bother reporting something like this to the police, its doubtful they will even bother looking into it but even worse they recently launched a "track the crimes in your area" site kinda like goggle maps for crime, so by reporting this you've just lowered the value of your parents house as an "antisocial" crime has occurred right outside, sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(
 
I fully knew that I'd be adding to a local statistic Ubersonic, but considering we've reported some other antisocial behaviour over previous years and none of them appear on the map, it didn't phase me.

Police rang back this morning saying they won't do anything due to lack of evidence (predictably) so there you go. I'm not going to retaliate as it will only fuel things. At the end of the day it's only a car, even though it's my pride and joy.

My anger's subsided now. Gonna spend the morning cleaning the car and see if how obvious it is then. I have ScratchX but I doubt it'll be of any use. I've always wanted to have the car detailed so maybe I'll see if I can pay extra to have some corrective work done.
