Most PSUs support 110v and 230v so you could just stick a UK plug on the kettle lead if its a 2 pin one you get.

I wouldn't worry about it and just see what happens. If you look online you will see loads of bad reviews for OcUK but I always use them and have never had a problem.

Not sure which competitor OP is talking about but I think I have an idea who it is.

I too had some concerns after reading some reviews after placing my order for a Home Cinema System, in the end everything turned out great from said French website.
