Really not trusting PSU - what to get?

So what should I do? I'm not buying a scope.

My primary suspect with 2 dead GPU's is power supply.

Theres nothing obvious from using the dmm. So do I stick with it and hope for the best r stick in the Seasonic? Kinda figured testing with dmm would be sufficient :(

I'd rather get the money back from the Seasonic, but don't want to chance more hardware getting killed.

Sugeestions?

Well, the Seasonic is a top rated unit. It's similar to the AX850, some say better. If it blows again, then the fault is somewhere else. How's your electrical supply? Any dodgy wiring in the house?

Have PC running off UPS for a little while now.

Come to think of it, I think both GPU's died since getting UPS... Guess am going to have to put in Seasonic, and if something else dies, guess my next suspect will be the UPS.

Put the Seasonic in this morning.

Was going to leave my 2500K in til had some time to test with new PSU, but had to remove cooler to get CPU power in, so just stuck the 3770K in as well.

I have not had much chance to test anything, but did do about a 20 min run of Heaven at the previous 1.18V with core at 1125 and seemed OK. Will need to run it longer tonight.

One thing I did notice was less coil whine at the screen when exiting heaven when the fps goes up way high

Well, it's kinda hard to have a firm idea, but things seem better with the X850.

My 7950 will now clock to 1150 at 1.174V it seems, whereas it was starting to struggle with it's previous 1125 at 1.181V...

I didn't test out the 2500K with it, as I needed to remove cooler anyway, but am running 3770K at very low volts.

Should I try RMA the Thermaltake? Just can't say or know if anything wrong with it for certain.
