The car uses brake shoes and drums.
I guess it is a mk2 Focus with a small engine (1.4-1.8)? If so you just need these.

Edit - Yes you won't need springs, or you shouldn't do, my old Dolomite didn't need new springs and that was 28 years old at the time!
Whilst you have it apart you might as well change the brake cylinders, can't imagine them costing a great deal.
You should only need the shoes, spring kits are normally cheap anyway. They we're only about £4.50 for my golf. You will also need to take the lip off the Drum that has formed otherwise it will cause problems getting the drum off next time, again I had this with my Golf and it was the reason I needed a spring kit as one broke getting the drum off.
Why? It's a 5 year old car. My Anglia didn't need new cylinders until it was over 30 years old.Whilst you have it apart you might as well change the brake cylinders, can't imagine them costing a great deal.

You should just need brake shoes. Don't add expense that you don't need to.
