Can someone rearrange this formula to be put in terms of delta (triangle)V. I have done it and got a weird result, just making sure I've not make a mistake with my rearranging.

Thanks (incase anyone wonders its for my dissertation which is "Maximum power point tracking a simulated DC wind generator system", its due in on wednesday :()

I don't know whether this is right (I just did it with my basic algebraic knowledge):

ΔV = (√[((L(IoutMax + (ΔIL / 2))²) / (Co*-Vout)]) - Vout

I do await the next post in which I will be proved wrong. :p

Yep, geuben is right.

That's the working..

Co = {L (IoutMax + (delta IL/2))^2} / {(delta V + Vout)^2 - Vout}

{(delta V + Vout)^2 - Vout} Co = {L (IoutMax + (delta IL/2))^2}

(delta V + Vout)^2= {L (IoutMax + (delta IL/2))^2} / Co + Vout

(delta V + Vout)= sqrt[{L (IoutMax + (delta IL/2))^2} / Co + Vout]

delta V = sqrt[{L (IoutMax + (delta IL/2))^2} / Co + Vout] - Vout
