Reasonable Price for A Google Nexus One ?

Looking at buying a Nexus One, Fed up with the pink tint on the desire. Looks like a girls phone :/

[The 'pink' is on the outer casing, Not the AMOLED screen, The screen is superb]

What would be a reasonable price from such places as the 'bay' ?

£300 Brand new ?

£250 Used ?

I paid £280 for my Desire so, I wouldn't be out of pocket by much by the time i sell it.

Or, If anyone wants to swap an AMOLED Desire for their Nexus One ? :D

You're probably looking at a little more than that. I would try and pick up a good condition used one.

Unless you can find a cheap new one someone's got from a voda contract.
 
Sorry, I meant the casing, It's supposed to be 'brown' ! It looks pink in direct sunlight.

The Nexus One looks a better colour, Going by Paradigm's pictures in the Desire thread

I would replace the casing with a black one like the Orange black Desires but, I can't find any.

So, £300 for a good condition used phone ?

EDIT: £370 one just sold for on the bay, Brand new, Hmmm !
 
The pink tint is an AMOLED issue, it does appear on the Nexus One too.

If you can clearly see a pink tint, your screen is faulty, get it replaced.

The Desire and N1 use the exact same screen (as far as I know), so they will both look the same, one isn't better than the other.
 
I sold my Galaxy S with a 16GB microSD and 2 spare batteries for 280. Month old in perfect condition with a case and two spare screen protectors! Kinda wish I hadn't as 2.2 is out this month but ahh well. Back to iPhone 4 land.

Edited my OP, Robbie, It's not the screen mate, It's just the pink casing which is supposed to be brown.

Does anywhere sell black casing ? I can't find any.
 
I thought the black one was on Orange ?

There's an issue with radio's on Orange handsets i think though so, More hassle with custom ROM's.

Aye, Seen the silver one, Not my style, Pure black is what i'm after. The Nexus One looks a better colour so, Will probably pick one up and sell the Desire.

Looks like a brand new one can be had for a little over £300.
 
Yep the Desire looks a little bent with it's pink-ish hue. I got a Desire on Orange from e2save but because it's unbranded it wasn't the black model. I got a casemate which semi-conceals it. I'm not vain enough to be too arsed though.
