At 7.20 this evening i caught some little scrote (16/17) holding a can of stella and having a slash against my front door. Excanged verbal, got told to "stop perving" and that he'd kick my door in if i didn't ____ off out of it, etc, etc.
He goes for me (on my doorstep), so i push him outside, ruck, get him on to the street (my doorway is a deep alcove), call for assistance from the doorstaff of the pub nextdoor but the door is shut and nobody hears. Manage to stick my shoulder into his chest and get him to the ground where i can control things, just about to go to work on him and i'm suddenly getting hit/kicked from every direction. Turns out he's with a bunch of mates and they've come wading in.
Managed to roll out of it and after deciding discretion is the better part of valour i bolted for my front door and called 999.
While i'm on the phone the group come back to my door and start gobbing off, then do a runner.

They broke my necklace (21st b-day pressy of my dad) which i keep my wedding ring on. Spent 15 minutes prowling up and down the pavement looking for it before i found it, was really worried the scrotes had picked it up when they came back.

I've got a cracking lump on the side of my head and bruises on my back.

Police came around, some checked local cameras, some asking onlookers for details, etc. While an officer was taking my statement, she had to rush out and assist her colleagues. She comes back 10 minutes later. They've nicked the guy, result :) They put out an assistance call when the bloke/kid starting fighting with the the officers trying to arrest him. Utter tit.

Obviously due to his age he'll be dealt with by the youth team and be told not to do it again.

Police need to collect two lots of camera footage from the pub nextdoor as some asshat smashed one of the windows on the shop downstairs last night.

Unlucky mate :(

Sorry to hear that, you've had a fair bit of problems around where you live isn't it?

How many were you jumped by?

Hope you have a quick recovery, now go rest and we can CS some other time :)

if he gets a caution it stays on for 5 years or until he's 18, whatever is shorter. I think so anyway.
I got a 'final warning' (it goes caution->warning->final warning->permanent record I think) at 15, and was gone when I was 18... so I presume it's the shortest one, not the longest!

Good thing they caught him, if it goes on his record will it stay there when he turns 18?

pretty sure it will. i have something on my record (even tho it didnt go further then a chat with the police?) from when i was 14 i think and it was still on there at Christmas when i got pulled over on a routine stop blah blah

Ouch, always gobby when they're in a group. You'll never catch them saying anything without at least 5 mates behind them!

Where abouts in plymouth was this can i ask? Luckily we seem to be ok around here (Estover/Leigham/Thornbury/Mainstone) way, except for the big groups that gather in the local park to get drunk and cause hastle.

So luckily seem to avoid most of it apart from in town, as you can't seem to go anywhere on a night out without some little scrote kicking off. There might not be so many Matelots in union street anymore, but certain elements of the population seem to be more than making up for it.

Still its always fun to see the MOD Police/Civvy Police pile out of a riot van and give them a good kicking ;)

Nice that he got caught in the end, although not punished enough because of his age.

Remind me not to go to Plymouth, hope you're bruises disappear soonish.
