recomend me a 22" tft for gaming money no object

Ok lols but £550 is to much for the 2" diffrence.
What in the 22" range is good?

2" brings a better panel, Much higher resolution, a great looking screen, loads of inputs and a much larger e-penis ;)

hmm seams like everyones raving about it and i could be dead tommorw so **** it :P

Good man, you won't regret it.

I was looking at a 20" when I bough this, so I was looking at an even bigger cost increase, I truly believe my decision was the write one, its great :)

That's the way to do it :)

The 22" screens are a waste of money.

22" screens image quality is as bad as 19" screens... horrible picture

The best sizes to go for are defo 17, 20, 24 (or 23 apple) and 30... the likes of the 19, 22, 27 range are just crap

:P

You'll enjoy the 24" mate :)

Had the Dell 24" briefly. Although it was a beautiful screen and awesomely useful in a OS desktop environment, I found it to be a bit too large for gaming. Especially considering the distance I would tend to sit from it, as in at a desk.

Still, a great piece of kit.

For gods sake whats this new trend to get DVI, it makes little to no difference.

It makes a huge difference imo.

On my old Viewsonic VX2025 I had to switch to VGA because the DVI port went faulty (while I was waiting for RMA). The Quality of the VGA signal is much lower & I for one can tell the difference.

But not all DVI connections are equal and neither are all VGA connections!!

Some screens get a good image through their DVI connection, some get a good image through their VGA connection and some get a good image through both!! Just because changing from DVI to VGA on one monitor produced a poorer image, doesn't mean that DVI is better than VGA. It just means that it was better on that monitor!!

Also it is quite common that screens with only a VGA input (like the Belinea) will have a very good image through that connector. Whereas many screens with both connectors will typically produce a better image on one input, usually DVI, and they spend less time trying to improve the image quality through the other (usually VGA) because they know they can get a good image on the other connector.

It's not just that monitor - it's every one I've ever come accross... and I always go for the high-end monitors.

Inluding the various ones I've come accross at my old job.

But I'm sure there are exceptions

22" Dell E228WFP Will be an interesting monitor once it's released. Although ...since there are not enough tests done on it....can't really say how well it will perform.
