As the title really.

I bought an Hauppauge HVR-1100 only to get it home and find that hauppauge have put new chips in this model and renamed them HVR-1110 but still package them as HVR-1100. My Main problem with this is that Media-portal supports the chips used on the HVR1100 but not the HVR1110. Add to this the fact that their software sucks, their driver installation program doesn't work nor does the IRBlaster software work, and their online knowledgebase is so vague to the point of being useless that i have gone off hauppauge in a big way. Having spent the best part of a few hours getting the drivers etc installed i am now faced with the problem that it won't play my analogue channels even though it has picked them up, and my digital channels keep flickering from fullscreen to some small size (maybe 640*480) so i am considering taking the thing back to the shop.

Any suggestions for a card that is reliable, easy to install/setup and is compatable with mediaportal, gbpvr etc.
Would like digital tv/radio (don't really care about analogue) some sort of video in for recording (HVR-1100 has s video in) remote control and if possible pci-e.

One thing i was wondering was i have a micro-atx case, is there likely to be any interference from fans & other components? If so am i better going for a usb or external tv source. Got my HVR for £40 so ideally i wouldn't want to spend much more than that.

Am still running winxpsp2.

I've had good experiences with Leadtek tuners :) One of their driver developers has a site where he puts all sorts of fixes and beta drivers.

Nebula DigiTV PCI card :)

Comes with Freeview and remote! :P

Also works with Media Portal. Picture quality is top notch, and the free software that comes with the card is quite frankly some of the best TV software I've seen. Very bland too look at but really in depth, unfortunately however it lacks a live tv pause/rewind system. But only software related, can use Windows Media Center that has the live tv pause stuff perfectly fine with the card.

I've just sold a Terratec Cinergy 2400i on MM.

Dual freeview tuners, works fine under Media Portal & Vista. Faultless picture. PCI-E too (that diddy little 1x slot).
