So im looking for the best credit card deal for me, however im only getting one to facilitate purchases from sites that only accept credit card and also for the insurance side of things, so the actual credit side of things is irrelevant.

I guess the only reason im asking if to see if theres any cards that are really worth having for cashback or whatever, something that will benefit me for using it. Im also a Student and normally bank with HSBC (also have savings with Halifax) if that makes any difference. Price promise type insurance would be useful probably as well.

Currently looking at the Amazon card mainly because it gives me £15 worth of vouchers on my first purchase and then a £15 voucher for every 1500 points i earn, but am entirely open to opinions and thoughts!

Yes, the balance will be paid off in fully every month by direct debit.

I looked on the HSBC website, but their credit card doesnt really offer anything back, apr rates are irrelevant as mentioned in the first post as i wont be using the proper credit side of things.

Sainsbury are doing 12 months 0% on purchases, which is the best deal on purchases for any CC atm.

Also Morgan Stanley are doing 2% cash back on purchases (will become 1%), I buy absolutely everything on it and pay it back each month, have already made £50+ in the last few months, easy free money! :)

Egg money for the long term card you can use everyday. Min 1% cashback on everything. 4% on a positive balance.

Egg card for the 0% purchases. I sing eggs praises.....so easy to use via the interweb, good customer service too. My choice.
