Hey all,

I could spend ages Googling this (INB4 lmgtfy), but instead decided to interact with other people.

I'm interested in Overclocking (obviously), and PC gaming (also 360 on occasion). I had a look around Asda today, there are overclocking mags, and there are gaming mags. Do any of these combine the 2?

So, what related magazines do you read? Do any of them discuss overclocking and gaming?
Also, what have your experiences been with each - writing style, monthly/weekly etc...

Looking forward to your replies,
Chris

I guess theres custom PC. Its more a hardware mag rather than specifically overclocking or gaming but they do cover them alogn with other stuff. Other people may be able to offer something better but thats the only one that I read that could count im afraid.

Edit: lame. Im so slow.

Im new to all this but started reading custom PC Magazine which seems to have a fair bit of decent info about all thing PC with a bit on PC gaming this months has a guide on overclocking too. But to be honest there is massive amounts of info on this very site.

Indeed you will find a lot more info (and more importantly, peoples individual opinions and findings) on the internet (this site specifically :D). I have a sub for custom pc and rate it very highly but unless its specifically toilet reading, no internet at work or you like the bus a lot then theres not too many advantages to forking out for hard copies - especially when those same magazines often publish their articles on their websites.

I'd go with Custom PC and PC Gamer for your magazine fix.

They both overlap content slightly, but there just isn't a magazine that focuses on both equally!

Absolutely this, however I do love PC Pro, and I normally rely on that for buying advice.

Toilet reading? You mean you don't just take a laptop in with you!?

It's mostly for reading during lunchtime at work, currently I just browse the internet on my phone.

But anyway. Thanks a lot for all of your replies. I'll try some of them out and see which one I like. If I remember I'll even post back with my thoughts =p

Thanks guys,
Chris
