Im after replacing my hifi with a small setup for use with my computer and mp3 player, I've read a few things but most are not very current so any today relative advice would be great.

Roughly £200 to spend but I can be convinced to spend more or less if its really worth it.

I've been looking at Cambridge Audio and Mission stuff, happy going second hand, just want some good quality audio, doesnt have to go too loud, but I must stress quality :)

Thanks guys
Al

I would try to pick up a secondhand NAD amp, something like the NAD C320BEE, as regards speakers, not up to speed with Missions, but you would not go wrong with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1's (amp + speakers I had a while ago and sound quite decent), which can be bought new for £99 now...
