My old mans looking for a TV after his ancient B&O went pop a few months back.

No bigger than 26", looking for a flat screen jobby & up to £700ish price wise. Although something around £500 would be nice.

I don't know anything about TV's so i'm hoping you clued up people can help? :)

Thanks
Scott

personally id say the samsung le26r74bdx would suit him niceley, was £800 when it first came out can be found now for £535 on the net. Ive got one of course, looks very stylish, slim and easy to use. HD ready too.

What sources does he have?

I am very happy with my DX7 JVC, costs in the £7-800 region most places but I paid £600 a few months back, has better connectivity than other sets of this size (2xHDMI, VGA, component) and is built in the UK

Can get the 32" for £575 with some voucher codes online :)

Well, its the R73, which is the same with a blue bit at bottom instead of silver

Thanks for the input guys :)

It has to be a 26" as that's all that will fit :D

The Samsung sounds great, can be had for less than £500 online too. I've suggested that he pops into one of the local large electrical retailers to check kit out before ordering.

Cheers again
Scott
