Recommendations 10k used

I'd get a 330i touring (I genuinely prefer the touring shape over the saloon) with a grand or 2 in the bank for any issues. That's just me, whether its the "best" option, who knows

Fitted with COMMAND as standard from launch AFAIK. Certainly my MY2000 had it. Gives you the sat nav, phone etc. I think only the TV module was optional, the rest as standard. 2003 facelift gave it a much more modern widescreen look.

Significantly more than double I would think, especially now they are getting on a bit relatively speaking. However there were no stipulations on running costs. ;)

Rust wouldn't be a problem on these. Being top end they were made properly unlike some of the C & E classes of the era. From memory I think there's a 20 year warranty on the paintwork. Jez would probably be able to confirm if he stops by.

I'd rather not link it as it has the reg on & after my gti was stolen i'm a bit paranoid;). £12,000 from a dealer with warranty etc. full service history. It only has the 18" oems on but i can live with that till spring when hopefully i can splurge on wheels
 
So you were in the market for a 330d and went for an m3 instead?

Good if you know what you are doing, LOL if you don't. You realise an inspection service on one of these is 700 quid plus right?

You feared the running costs of a Jaguar so I don't quite get this...
