Hi, I'm looking to get a 24" monitor with HDMI and DVI input and 1920x1080. That's what I'm only looking for really.

The problem is I don't really know what is worth the money. Don't really have a budget so if you could tell me which is the best value for money. Or, what to avoid would be very helpful.

I will be using the monitor for 360 (why I wish to keep the 16:9 ratio) and for photoshop, web design and programming (screen rotated maybe?).

Thanks for you advice =]

Rotating screen will need an IPS panel, otherwise the horrible horizontal viewing angles of TN panels will make it unviewiable (hence you dont see rotation on cheaper panels!). At 24" your options seem to be Dell U2410 or HP LP2475w dreamcolour. They are both exceptional with colours :-).

Otherwise check out the 22" 2209WA as a cheaper alternative.

Incidentally they are all 16:10 ratio which is arguably better for all-round usage.

They also all rotate incidentally.
