Quick questions.

I got my Vcr connected to my tv through Rf cable,, got my sky connected to my Tv using Scart.

I want to be able to record sky channels to my Vcr, people told me to connect my Sky box to my Vcr using a scard lead, i done this but it then cuts out my sky so i cant see it on the tv, all i see is the vcr now on the channel that sky was on.

Im confused.

You could do it so it goes sky -> VCR -> TV all through scart leads, that way you'll keep a good picture.

Or I think Sky boxes have a second scart output for VCR's so could try just plugging a scart lead from sky to VCR and then have scart from Sky to TV.

On my tv i can select which av channel to view, Ext 1 2 3 4 5.

On ext 3 Is Sky, Ext 4 is my 360, When i plug the Skart socket from the Sky box to the vcr, I get the Video channel through ext 3 rather than sky.

and sky dissaperes i cant find it on any channel, any ext, nor see it throgh the vcr.

it sounds like the vcr is looping through the sky box to the tv....and the signal is switching the scart....connect the second sky scart to the tv as said before....

VCR into the 'VCR' SCART on the Sky Box. TV into the 'TV' SCART on the Sky Box.

Now you will see the VCR on the TV when the VCR is on. Switch the VCR off and you will see Sky.

While the VCR's on, you should be able to switch inputs to show you the Sky box output. Not sure how exactly, as I don't know your VCR (nor have I used a VCR for years!).

In the Sky+ Planner there is (or at least was!) an option called copy to VCR (or similar). You choose the programs you want to copy and press start. It will then play them one after another. All you do is hit record on your VCR.
