Regza 42" LCD 1080p slight white cloud!!

An hour ago my 3 year old was watching a dvd and it started pausing, so he decided to try and fix it by smashing his hands on the screen with the help of his buzz lightyear toy while i was in the other room.
After i hit the roof and had a look at the tv i noticed a light cloudy area against the black when the tv is on about the size of my hand in the bottom left corner! i had not noticed this before but i was intentionally looking for faults so i don't know if it wsa like this before the incident! is this normal? :mad:

reminds me of an incident with my 42 " regza and my 3yr old hitting the screen with a fork

I don't have a clue technically what's wrong, but I've seen exactly the same on the screen of a PSP - pressure on the screen caused a cloudy area.

actually i think i had the same issue with a monitor and yeah i found no way to get rid of it it clouded out the date/time in the bottom right hand corner.

Yep, 2 years on and it's still there :/
