Reinstalling without the original disk

I recently left home and left a lot of my computer bits including my Windows disk at my parent's house. I have the product key on a sticker though. If I reinstall Windows XP from another disk, can I use that product key to activate it?

Yup, you should have no problems as long as it's not x64 CD or something

As long as both the disk and serial key match ie both OEM
