Well it's owners' ex wife is competing in the new Unlimited Class in the La Carrera Panamericana, a 3000 km race across Mexico.

This 2006 Lotus Elise was the only entry in the new Unlimited class to actually turn up. Rachel, the owner and driver, was apparently the only person willing to install a roll cage in her expensive new exotic car, only one of several reasons why she is a totally cool chick. (Attention poseurs, that is how you do it!)

I've been in that position a fair few times, I tend to stick my legs through the roof though, it's more comfortable.

On S1 Elises it used to be common for the throttle pedal linkage to come undone. The best way to see what you were doing while sorting it out was to put your head in footwell and your legs out of the roof.

Dunno what she's fiddling with on the passenger side though.
