remote closing windows

Fraud being Fraud decided to make this an added optional extra they could charge for on my model of ST, same with the rear windows, and that's why mine are manual. Manual rear windows on car that cost 20k+ 3 years ago, lol! 2010 models all have it now though.

As said, BMW do it.

You only ever use it when showing mates you can wind the windows down off the key.

I've found 2 uses for it. Obscenely hot days, open windows without cooking your head. Stand outside with mates eating ice cream for a few minutes,

Or, passenger gets out without closing window, you don't notice as you walk away, so you close it remotely.

Anyway, my Saab did it, as did my mondeo

Yes it can, needs to be programmed in if it doesnt work, google for fordmondeo.org but that has changed to talk ford or something, there is a wiki on how to do it.

Doesn't need to be programmed per-se, its the one touch window calibration goes when the battery is disconnected. If they will open and close with one touch, on all windows, then they should do it with the remote

I hate the feature! Twice now I have got up in the morning to find my windows down on the S3 because I've inadvertantly leant on the key fob in my pocket at some point during the previous evening

You think that's bad. I once went down to the car one morning to find I'd done the same thing, except it had lowered the roof as well.

As Fox said, it seems I only ever use it to show my mates it can be done. Serves no real practical purpose for me.
