Remote desktop problem WS 2012

Hello !

I've got quite an interesting problem,

Every time I RDP to our exch server and log in it goes to metro (which I don't mind) BUT it pastes to search something I've searched 4 months ago.

It does it every time, the is no apparent script running on the rdp either.

So for example, I searched for file called october2001, I've pressed windows button and typed the file. And pressed enter (I know its not the correct way to look for files, my mistake), since then when I log off and log in again server goes to metro and in search there is october2001 automaticly, without any input.


Any ides where to look ?

you could always stop it from opening the start page so it goes straight to desktop?

Right click the task bar, select properties then select the Navigation tab and make sure the check box to log into desktop is ticked

I am more interested why is it happening tho...

Have you tried deleting your profile from the box?

It's your profile. Remove it and it won't come back.

Disable windows search service is worth a try.

Deleting profile solved the problem, thank you guys.
