Hi, I went into the back of someone about a month ago, the only damage was the bonnet bending and the indicator covers cracking a bit. I've only just got round to fixing it, I've got a new bonnet, but I can't get the old one off because the paint has dried around the nuts that hold it onto the hinges. Whats the best way of removing the nuts other than sawing them off?:p

I've tried hard but the spanner just goes around the nut!

You've rounded the nut off then. Get a 6 sided socket and hope that you can get it off with that, if you can then replace the nuts. If you can't then you'll have to think about more drastic measures. ;)

ha, love it. I'd get a drill / grinder out. The old bonnet is knackerd anyway. I take it you have new nuts.

Just be careful not to damage the arm/bracket.
