Removing Be Queit silent wings fans

I stupidly installed them the wrong way around so I have to remove them. But the use the rubber screw things which i cannot remove. Anybody got any tips?

those plastic things that look like tacs? they go into the rubber mounts on the fan, just pull out the plastic bit - thats what i did

but be careful, they break easy.

Thanks I've tried pulling them out but they seem to be breaking apart. Why couldnt they use screws!?

I prefer them to screws, you dont need to use those awful self-tappers
