Hey,

Stupid question but how the hell do you get these bad boys out of a rack?

theres no screw stopping the spring loaded pins which hold it in.
For the life of me i cant make it budge 1 bit haha

Any words of wisdom? Breaking it isnt an option as they belong to a customer (gdit!)

Cheers

Push the second blue tab (the rounder one) outwards towards the side panel - IIRC - and the first tab (the taller one) then slides backward with the pin allowing you to release it from the rail holes.

Is a one hand job once you get used to it, so if it's not moving you've not moved the second blue tab far enough across.

haha that was a right hassle! Finally got it.

The middle pin sort of thing wasnt pushed in far enough. Stupid design! simple dell ones are fine.

Cheers though guys!

I agree! Those rails have lead to plenty of scrapes and cuts! Although not as bad as the older HP rails.
