Someone scratched the paintwork on my motor today, it left a few rather deep scratches past the coat of paint and I cant get rid of it using just T Cut. What would be the simplest/cheapest solution to get rid of the scratches as it sticks out quite badly on the black paint? or will I have to get it done professionally at a garage?

mm very fine brush and matching touch up paint, keep building pain't up in layer's allow to dry between coats, your looking at getting the paint just above the original paintwork, once that is done allow to harden for atleast a few days, then use tcut to cut back to original body paint, once your happy with it finnish of with several coats of a good polish. Thats how i do it saves me ££££
p.s you should be doing this in a warm garage.

That sounds easy enough, I looked around the halford site and they do some kit which includes the primer, paint, lacquer and brush for a tenner. Will that do that job? Also having a warm garage is a quite tall order for this time of the year :(
