Hi there,

Just purchased a vauxhall combo van today and I want to take the two front seats out so that I can fully clean the carpets.

Can anyone give me some tips how to go about removing them? I'm not sure what to unscrew or do.

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.

There are usually four to six large carraige bolts that attach from underneath that fasten the seats down. There might be other ones scattered around for seatbelts.

They're usually on very tightly so an air impact wrench would come in handy.

i changed the interior on my mondeo, was pretty easy.

Seatbelts was the hardest part, i disconnected the battery and removed thae belt fomr the seat. you can disconnect from the car but it was much easier from the seat.
