Removing the word 'start' on the taskbar

Hi all,

I know that its possible to edit the taskbar to remove the sord 'start' hence just leave the windows icon but I cant remember how........ I did this mod on my desktop PC a while ago and I cant remember the process.

Any help or linkage?

I had found the geeks site though, but that isnt really what im after..... I found a program via deviant art before
