Renault radio codes

Stupid car blew a fuse and now the radio has forgotten its code. Anyone know what the standard code is and if there's a limit to how many times you can put one in just in case it locks the unit? Any way to reset it?

Ring the dealer might be a quick solution.

different codes per set iam afraide mate there is no standard, you will have to phone up a local renault dealer probably with your chassis number or the boxes serial number.

Don’t know if this site actually works, but I’m going to try it on my gf’s car radio when I get round to taking it out.

Think it would be a Clarion then which is good as i have the code generator for those. Slide it out & write down the 8 Digit seriel code & send me it & I'll send you back the results.

Dont think it's a Clarion, they came on Peugeot's as standard.

Renault's of that age had Philips ones IIRC.

If the worst comes to the worst, take it to the Dealer and it'll be £10-£15 to get it re-coded. Remember to take the V5 and your driving licence though.

My dads 96 laguna had the code written down in the front or back page of the manual.

His is a blaupunkt.
