Renaultsport Clio 200 Turbo (2012)

I actually like the look of it. What I don't get is, everytime the majority of a forum likes a particular car design, I don't and vice versa. O'well at least I'll be driving cars that are rare on the road, well perhaps not this one but others :p

Everyone's going to want a late registered current 200. What have they done :( *sob*. I'm going to go and look at photos of some v6 clios to make me feel better.

Not keen on the styling yet, but i think thats the case with most of the RS clio's that are released (197/200). One thing that is clear that its going to be rather awesome to drive. Huge difference in torque compared to the 200, same BHP and a bit lighter. And going by RS's recent releases it should handle rather well too.

Not sure about the paddle box though :(

That was what set Renault apart from all the others though, keeping the N/A engine and throttle response over the other marques turbocharged engines.

How can they make it lighter, presumably safer and not turn it into a super tinny noisy hateful box to drive on the motorway would be my question!

Looks horrible from the front.

No manual gearbox, what on earth were they thinking?

Isn't that a major selling point of the RS Clio?

Also are these DSG/tiptronic/sexytronic gearboxes considerably more economical than manual ones. I have a feeling that when they test them and put them through the economy cycle, they adjust the software to make it extremely economical.
