Repairing corrupted video

I took some video from my drone yesterday in the snow and when I have pulled the file off the memory card none of my players can actually play it.

I have fed the file into an online repair tool which showed me some stills from the video but wanted to charge me £75 to recover it.

Any free way of doing this?

I have tried using VLC to be repair the file but no good

There is a tool called handbrake - free and pretty good at transcoding, it may help.

You may have to accept that the file/card is corrupt - sorry !
