I just picked up a MSI B550 Gaming Wifi board, but annoyingly the WiFi/Bluetooth antenna are the kind that plug directly into the rear io. Is it possible to buy a separate antenna that I can use, and does it have to be an MSI product or will something from any other vendor work?

Yes you can buy diffrent antennas doesn't need to be msi that should just screw into the existing connector.
