Replacement DR150's - keep or not?

I might have solved it actually - on my X-Fi if you enable mic monitoring via the X-Fi console instead of Windows, there's hardly any delay. It's more like a slight echo than your voice lagging.

Goes off to test NS1000s in L4D...

My voice isn't loud enough from my desktop mic unless I have it right to my mouth. :( .

Game audio completely overwhelms is so would still get shouty. I guess I could fix it by messing with levels though.

My DR150's arrived this morning, tested them out for a good hour on wow and with some music, using the xonar DG. I've never heard anything like it tbh cosidering I am used to onboard sound and a puny little £10 headset.

I am really impressed and I am hearing sounds so clear that were never there before, this is really awesome. Also the build quality of the 150's seems really nice. I don't have a massive head so cannot see myself running into problems with the cracking later on in life. Over the hours use they were so comfy i forgot i had them on haha!
