This is what I would recommend as well...unless you can find a i5 2500K for not much more than the i3 2120.

I've decided to go get a GTX 570, and will look to upgrade my mobo/CPU/RAM based on your suggestions over the next few weeks. (I'm an Nvidia fanboy, sorry).

Obviously I need to get the GPU first as my other is completely buggered now. Will be getting a new PSU to match too.

One last quick question, EVGA Superclocked or the Gainward Goes Like Hell version? Both similar in price (the Gainward is on offer this week).

Thought about the EVGA for a reference design and extended warranty - but the Gainward has a slightly higher clock. What do you think?

I have a Gainward. works a dream, But choose EVGA fella. good prices atm and very gd support and step up
and clocks just as high as the Gainward and Zotac

I replaced the exact same card with a 560 Ti OC, noticeable difference but now a generation old I'd consider a 6 series

Go EVGA and if you feel it's not you, use the step up for a 6***
