Replacement lid and screeen..possible?

Had a mishap on Christmas day and need a new lid and screen for my Dell Studio XPS 13. Any idea's whether Dell or anyone else that can repair it?

Which one is broken? screen or the lid? basically you could replace both of them.

should be but depending on the age/model it may not be financially viable

If it is an older/cheaper laptop then a generic panel and replacing it yourself is the way to go ( along with 2nd hand lid )

Follow up...

It turns out the whole top half of the laptop had to be replaced as they are supplied as one part. Dell initailly quoted £460 for next day replacement! This is what the whole machine cost me in the first place. So I asked if they could just supply the part and I'd do it myself? Sure, £260 delivered.....but can you fit it yourself? Yes, I'll try....

Hold on sir....We'll get an engineer to do it for you as a gesture of good will

Engineer came yesterday and fitted it.
