Hi all,
I’ve got a PC that I play games on but I’ve recently bought a 360 and don’t game as much if at all on the PC bar the occasional game of FM. I’ve also got a HTPC that I recently upgraded to dual core and a motherboard with HDMI out. I’ve decided that I’d like a laptop as my girlfriend likes to sit and watch TV at the same time as surfing the net. As I said I’ve recently bought a 360 so the gaming side of thing I’m not the fused about but I’m a huge media freak now and I’d like a laptop that outputs 1080p via either HDMI or DVI. I like the looks of the new sony vaio laptops with blu ray but that’s not that important.
I’m really looking for an entertainment laptop something that can replace my HTPC, I have network storage that I keep my media on so HD space isn’t a problem. Plus I’ll be keeping my old tft monitor so I can still link it up if I need it.
I’m looking to spend between £700.00 and £1,000.00, I could go more if the laptop is nice.
Any recommendations or laptops you think might be powerful enough to use as a HTPC would be great.
Thanks
Ginge
