Reporter has possible stroke on live on air

Want to know what having a stroke is like..

I found this a week or so ago.
Sorry to blab on about it. :o but I find it stunningly insightful as well as quite moving

KCBS 2 television reporter Serene Branson's garbled speech during a live Grammy broadcast last Sunday was not the result of a small stroke as many have speculated but was instead a symptom of a "complex migraine," according to her physician, Dr. Neil Martin, chief of neurosurgery at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Martin received permission from Branson to discuss her condition publicly.

I suffer from some pretty bad migraines as well and can vouch that speech slurring is very common!

Theres been no conclusion either way has there? Link me to one where it says she hasnt

The incident was reported by traditional media and led to speculation among their consumers and medical experts that the incident occurred due to a serious medical condition, and was used to inform their viewers and readers of warning signs for the medical conditions that were being speculated about.[5][6][7][8] KCBS-TV released a statement the next day saying that she was feeling fine and had to visit her doctor for follow up tests.[5]

Not wanting to repeat myself but - she didn't have a stroke....

From what I understand, she was taken to a local hospital who cleared her of having a stroke. Thankfully Im sure...however...that doesnt mean that there wasnt something else going on here, whether serious or not.

She was checked by paramedics and then taken home by a friend.

Well nobody posted any of that info did they, i simply said from the footage it was possible, and yes a focal migraine is another of the possibilities, and if she has a history of that then fair enough to make that assumption, but tbh she could still have had a TIA even if its resolved.
