I never really got on with this on the Gamecube and I was quite a hardcore Resident Evil fan.

Didn't like the dual characters mechanic.

No item boxes but items you drop are marked on your map for later retrieval, at least that's how I remember it, works pretty well.

Well spotted, but it could be the latest date its out as people are already playing it on consoles and even steam itself so we'll have to see later on today. I'm hoping its earlier than friday as I've got the dreaded man flu and playing that would give me something to do lol.
