Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster

The characters look so wooden. Rebecca's face hardly moves during a lot of the cutscenes. I know how that's what it was like originally, but with the HD models it looks so odd.

Capcom must be really skint for not making a real next gen resident evil instead of all these remasters which don't look that good really:(
 
Well I am pleasantly surprised how good this is thus far (only played a couple of hours). Looks great if I am honest and once you get used to the controls, it plays great as well. Early days but nostalgia isn't one of my strong points but this is winning me over for now.

They've released several new RE games and they've all been pretty lacklustre. The remasters are at least of higher quality games.

I was fairly impressed with the performance and looks (outside of the cutscenes, though that was to be expected). Quite amused by the cheesy voice over at the start too...but then again, I expect that from RE :p

I've not given it a proper try yet but I'll probably aim to play through it over the next couple of weeks whilst I wind down from particular long days at work and let my exercise and diet plans go to pot. Woo.
 
The RE1 remaster obviously sold very well or Capcom wouldn't have give a RE0 remaster a second thought, so why the hate? If it's what people want then leave them to it.

I can see people's points about some remasters but these are genuinely decent and as above, allow us to play these games on PC for the first time (legitimately, at least).

Personally I'm really looking forward to the RE2 remaster.
 
I have no problems with remasters personally and if it is done well, it can have my money :) After all, I watch remakes of films and happy to do so.
 
I'm relatively certain that this isn't handled by Capcom as full time endeavour but rather a smaller development team as a side project.
 
This remaster/re-lease is great loving it in fact :D

I love the resi series owned both the UK release's an the Jap Biohazard versions.

If like me you like the original games,every thing before the rubbish No4 an after this is a must.

Just need the GC Star wars games get done then its bye bye GC :D

I'd forgotten about the RE2 remaster, although I believe that one is more of a remake from what I've read. Similar to how the original REmake went.

Yep, this is what they have said. Hopefully they put as much work into it as REmake and don't just tart up that RE2 mod that was in the works :eek:.
