Simple question -

In the RE storyline I know "we" removed the device injecting the drug into her so she's not being controlled anymore, but does that mean she's now completely normal now, or still retains some of her abilities / speed?

It's been ages since I played through RE5 so don't really remember it exactly :p

I think she's just normal now but I'm not 100% I only vaguely remember that part, didn't they make her blonde?!

Yeah they did. (blonde)

I'm *REALLY* hoping she's not 100 percent "normal" :(

I want at least one of them to have something!

Hey! This ain't no game about superheroes. :( :p

I wonder when we'll start hearing about RE6, I do hope they go back to more of a traditional survival horror style, the last two games have been great in my opinion but not particularly scary and not needing that much rationing and planning apart from the hardest modes. I want zombies too, not infected people. :(

** spoilers **

Yup. It was really stupid. Throughout the game you see this mystery character a few times wearing a big cape and mask.

During one of the final cut-scenes there's what's supposed to be a "big reveal" where you find out who the mystery character is. The mask comes off to reveal a blonde woman who doesn't look anything like any previous characters from the RE series. Apparently that's Jill.

I know, but we're talk about afterwards, basically after RE5.

Does she still have the "wesker" power! :p

Are you mad!? RE5 was pants! :p

It wasn't scary in the slightest and even reminded me more of mgs than previous resi's. It was good for a run through in co op with a mate but after that i couldn't play it again, got bored after 5 mins :(

They need to go back to real survival horror, bring back the zombies and make the game scary/spooky again!

Something like RE1/2.

They need to knock off Resident Evil already, it's a tired, dull and clichéd cash cow for Capcom now. The storyline has gone off the rails. It used to be about venturing into the unknown, and zombies. What the hell happened to it?

I'm sure Jill's skills are practically the same as she once was before, just being more agile. Hardly a huge jump in ability unlike Matrix Wesker. She's going to have one ugly scar on her chest for the rest of her life though. :D

Never played the GameCube remake of Resident Evil 1 then?

Jill's facial features look the same as it did then.

Just incase some people don't know, the change to blonde hair colour was due to a pigmentation side effect from being brainwashed and once being inside one of the chambers in that deep underground test facility.

It's now a superb coop game to play with the GF.

She became normal once the device was removed.

Anyone expecting actual survival horror from RE4 and 5 would undoubtedly come away from those games disappointed, but that's because they weren't trying to be survival horror. If you accept them for what they are, they are fantastic.

If you think Wesker catching RPGs and Chris punching a boulder isn't hilarious then just play Amnesia instead.

One bad thing I will say about the game is that the menus were horrible. Capcom could really do with getting someone with a sense of usability to design their GUIs.
