Yeah it can. Probably only way to do it unless you become very good at it.

This hotfix addresses the following:

When the graphics card is overclocked, GPU voltage may become capped, preventing it from boosting to expected levels [5934973]
[Resident Evil Requiem] White glowing light/dots may appear in game when Subsurface Scattering is enabled [5915673]
Improved path tracing performance in Resident Evil Requiem [5938207]
[Star Citizen] Game client crashes when launched [5935027]
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed when playing multi-key DRM content in a browser on HDCP 1.x monitors [5934450

No, why would I when the older driver is already "fixed" and the new drivers offer nothing new (of value).

For me this is the game of the year already but then again I'm a fan of the genre. My brother keeps telling me Crimson dessert is the one to watch out for, well we will see. But I'm certainly enjoying this even though Graces stupid stuttering voice got right on my **** initially.

Yes, but it varies in difficulty depending on how many of the additional things you've unlocked you have. My friend's 3rd playthrough had unlimited bullets and did it in 2.5 hours. We're on his last achievement run now (I'm streaming his playthroughs) and it's on Insane, glad we have infinite ammo for it, because it's actually insane.

I'm enjoying my Insanity no-bonus run (no CP purchases, no inf ribbon etc), it's slow going but very rewarding to make it through the next section, making more use of resources (like bottles) and planning ahead much more. On the final part of the care center now - not looking forward to the defend emily bit!

Few things I've noticed...
  • The zombies with a severed arm seem easier to evade if you move around their side that has the missing arm (you can get two running knife attacks in after staggering them this way)
  • The RIP Knife is quite strong, I was able to take down a blister head just using it and still had plenty of durability left
  • I was able to get in and out of the Bar and Lounge to get the S&S M232 without getting spotted, took a few tries to get right though. Generally Zombies are more blind than I realised.
  • I'm noticing Grace and Zombies saying things I didn't notice on previous runs, maybe just becuase I'm not taking them out as quickly.

These could be the entire patch notes, for the 1.4GB patch that has landed, posted on X....

That is going to be hard yeah. I did on standard classic which was not too bad. But did die once as I let a zombie get me twice. Lol. Didn't make that mistake the second go :p

Not sure if standard classic is meant to be harder, but it does feel that way vs standard modern.

Leon bit should feel easier this time as getting points earlier.

I fancy doing a quick third playthrough on easy mode and using unlocked stuff. This go the only thing I am using is 50 extra blood capacity thing I think.

Only encountered one bug so far. When the special forces enter that room, one of them was trapped behind the door you can’t open. You could see his legs popping through but couldn’t shoot him, so had to restart.

I’m actually enjoying the game a bit more now. I thought I was near the end on a few occasions, and then it opens up another section and there’s more to do.

Definitely feel it’s kind of two games in one you’re getting and I like it, although I now prefer playing as Grace over Leon.

I may have been a little too harsh previously because I genuinely thought I’d pretty much finished it………I was wrong!

Back in Racoon City on my second playthrough. Enjoying more this time funnily enough. I think it is also down to how tired I am when playing. If tired I find it hard to play areas of the game I generally enjoy less.

It went a bit Gears Of War at one point in that area. It’s also felt a bit like other games at times such as Alien Isolation in parts.

Anyone else able to confirm a huge performance increase when using the latest Nvidia patch?

I literally went from 70 FPS (PT, DLSS Performance, Everything else Max) - to 140 FPS with the same settings. I'm not used to seeing such a huge uplift from a patch which is why I'm sceptical and wondering if somethings broken

Note: I haven't properly got into the game yet, still in the process of setting up - fired up twice for 5 mins max. I intend on starting this evening!

They have also patched the game for increased performance on 4 and 5 series Nvidia GPUs.
