Is there any scenario in which US tariffs and our lack of them positively impact UK prices? Or is it going to be prices going up everywhere and then like COVID staying up because they can?

Reference board knocking about in China. Looks a bit different from the render in terms of the silver\black scheme though camera flash might have washed out that contrast a bit. Shapes a bit different as well.

Probs just a prototype

It would have been nice if they had as it would help keep the AIB’s in check with their prices as they’d be anchored to the MBA for some models

That's probably why there is (suspiciously) no mba card this time around. They would probably find it hard to keep the price to the msrp so opted out of making them, then left it upto aibs to meet it while they 'encourage" them to do so.

It would if that was how things worked in practice, but it isn't.

There were a number of cards available at MSRP, probably similar in stock numbers to how big an MBA run would've been. But once they're gone, the prices start climbing. Look at Nvidia FEs, AIB cards are going for 50% over MSRP.

The only thing that anchors price is when supply outstrips or meets demand.
