Hi all, I built the PC in my signature a few years back (all from OCUK) and I'm looking for an upgrade on graphics and my monitor.

I'm reading a lot on here about 144Hz monitors and RX580 GPU's...

Can anyone recommend some specific types for a £400-500 budget (combined) on these two items?

I assume my 3570k and RAM is still up to the job for most daily tasks and some gaming on Guild Wars 2? Ideally I'd like to be running GW2 at much higher quality and frame rates than I currently achieve with my ageing 6870!

Thanks for reading and any advice.

Worth the extra £100. Get 3 free games as well from AMD

If not

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £436.08 (includes shipping: £11.10)

Thank you for taking the time to do that. The second selection is more in my price range.
Also, is there some inherent advantage in having a curved screen?

Finally, will this card run two screens, one from the DVI and one HDMI, since it only has one DVI output? Is that an issue at all? Is DVI the preferred output or is two HDMI connections better? It would be nice to have my old monitor to the side for other bits 'n' pieces when I'm full screen on the new one.

should run two screens just fine, DVI is old and Display Port and HDMI are the most common now used.

curved is meant for better viewing angles but really only beneficial when screes are large and avoids you having to turn your head to look

Again, thank you. A couple of final things hopefully...

Will I need to buy a DP cable for the new monitor or do they come supplied?
Will one monitor on DP and one on HDMI work? My old monitor has a DVI and HDMI only, I think.

should be fine :)
the Display port into the New Freesync monitor will handle gaming an enable freesync and HDMI port should connect to your second monitor for general use
