I bought a contract phone a few months ago, and got a free PSP

The PSP is now half dead, it resets itself and the wifi switch is broken...all due to it falling from quite a height

Will the PSP be under warentee/have a guarentee with it or what?

Im trying to find the receipts out to see if threr is anything on them

It didn't break, you dropped it. So I doubt it.

who says i dropped it?

it was in my bag on a plane a few weeks back and it fell out of the overhead compartments, so by no means my fault really?

Well it didn't jump, did it. It was accidentally damaged as opposed to faulty is what he is saying.

Ah that's the PSP suicide bug - been reported on a couple of forums - they'll do a free swap out for you. If you hold down the shoulder buttons at the same time you'll find a note it left before breaking detailing who it wants you to give its games to. Anyone who's got a PSP and hasn't applied the 'Valium 2.0' firmware fix should head over to the official site and download it.

if it's been dropped the warranty is void , doesn't matter if it was your faul or not, you need to claim on either your travel or home contents insurance

AFA Sony are concerned, you broke it. AFA you're concerned, the airline broke it. Wht not ask them for compensation?
