I'm merely boasting here but I've just started work on a film shot ~10% on the RED Epic and 90% on 35mm. The RED looks lovely in our grading theatre on a 30ft screen :cool:

but the dop and our colourist still prefer the 35mm. There just seems to be much more depth to it. Still, lovely pictures on both

Film still has a much greater range of colour and you can't beat proper grain, which is why most major productions still shoot film and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Infact the other thing with RED is how they boast about their high Resolutions. So that video was shot at 5K.... so what are you actually intending to play that back on? 2K has still remained the default projection resolution and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon either.
