How long does in normaly take you to get ready in the morning before you go out?
Im just curious what the average time would be.
I know some people that spend about 1-2 hours on just their make up every morning :eek:
But then there are the other that take about 5-10 minutes including showering :eek:

So whats your average time to get ready?
 
Depends. If I'm washing my hair you can add on 10 mins as it takes so long to wash and condition it due to the length of it. I just leave it to dry naturally then though so that's quick!

If my hair is already done I just shower, dress, put contacts in and stick me slap on which takes about 20 mins max altogether. It takes me that long if I'm going out for the night too.
 
In the morning, me and 3 smallish rugrats are out the door within half an hour of the alarm going off, including breakfasts and making packed lunches. I tend to shower etc when I get back from the horses after the school run. If I shower before though, add 10 minutes to dry hair, else I look like a bog brush all day.
 
Is anyone else suspicous of these answers. I mean they are all under an hour.
Women getting ready in under an hour is an Internet Myth. :p
You are all just perpetuating that myth.
I think we may have to send some one round to watch and check the accuracy of these posts. ;)
 
I'm not a girl (or Otacon for that matter), but for me it generally takes 15 mins for shower and shave, 5 mins doing hair and getting dressed, 10 mins breakfast.

Allow 15 mins for checking email and browsing forums, so usually leaving the house about 45 minutes after getting up.
 
15 mins if not washing my hair , 30 mins if washing

That includes drying/straightening and also faffing about with contacts

If I'm going out I tend to be a little more careful with my hair and also put a touch more make up on so that increases it to about 45 mins
 
If I was just getting up and leaving then 20-30 minutes (including sorting my gym bag for after work), you can add 30 minutes if I'm showering.

In reality, I like to take my time, drink a coffee, munch on some brekky, so my alarm is set for 7am and I leave at 8:15am, if I'm having a shower and washing my hair the alarm gets changed to 6:30am.

I generally only wear makeup if I'm going out somewhere special and even then its only eyeshadow, mascara and lippy (on the rare occassion I'm using eyeliner you can add anything up to an hour on my getting ready time - I don't have a very steady hand and it involves lots of washing off and starting again :o )
 
I get up at 06:30 and leave the house at 07:30. That time includes reading the forums for a bit to wake myself up, eating breakfast and waiting for my brother to get out of the shower so I can clean my teeth though. If it's just the doing hair, putting on clothes etc., it takes about 15-20 mins max.
 
If we're including what we do in that time - it's about 5 - 10 mins of cursing the fact I have to get up and actually getting out of bed, showering, doing my hair and getting dressed. Often have to iron something too because I never do these things in advance! :p

Can easily be as quick at 10 mins if I want but like Takhisis, I like to take my time :)
 
Usually about 30 minutes. That includes washing and drying my hair (which is long). Sometimes about 10 minutes longer if I need to iron something to wear. If you are suspicious of times you can ask for verification from the people at the Aberdeen meet ;)

Yup. We were both ready at the same time for the Swansea meet!
 
People should say if they are a male/female... its hard to tell from a name.

As a male, about 40 mins, if I am shaving with a good clean shave, otherwise about 30 or so....
 
about 20mins from waking up to being ready to go, shower, teeth, dressed, done, helped by the fact i dont eat breakfast at uni! takes about 40mins at home when i have to work! gotta get used to the fact im up at stupid o clock :D
