That looks like a nice midweek meal thanks. Love fennel.Yeah love his recipes, very little Italian food served over hear has any resemblance to Italian food. Was refreshing to see at least his was true to the origins. Will have his Fennel and prawn recipe in honour.

That’s Italian cuisine for you. I personally find it quite repetitive and boring tbh. 90% of Italian restaurants are just pizza, pasta and risotto. Nowhere near the diversity of say French, Thai or even the US. Even the refugees in Italy protested against its monotony a few years back.seemed a nice bloke, never particularly impressed with his food though
I do agree, it's much more like heart warming family food really. He was a great personality though and liked his shows when him and the other dude went to Italy
