Oh my god. No way. This is about the first time I've ever felt genuinely sad about a celebrity dying. Saw him at Ronnie Scott's quite recently. Absolute legend. Complete all-round entertainer, with a fantastic voice, and a vicious sense of humour. He'll definitely be missed

Don't know the guy, but RIP. 80 is a decent age and by the looks of things he achieved a fair bit in his time.

RIP George, we had a student here who lived in his old family home, so almost a claim to fame there.
