On Twitter this morn, I heard the bad news. I've spent my morning break's reading about the gent as I was only just talking about him to some friends last night

He truly led an incredible life, some of which was portrayed so incredibly in Band of Brothers, which I watch every christmas.

News of his passing hit me hard too. RIP sir.
