Parts arriving today, just wanted to check something. I may have lost the plot on the memory here but will the G.Skill 12800C9 work on that board?.

Pretty sure it was recomended to me, but reading some forums suggests the Ripjaws will work, but are not ideal?

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 BE
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL)
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P AMD 770
Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply
Coolermaster Sileo 500 Silent Case - Black

Thanks

Horses for courses time.

If you asked the sales guy/gal at OCuk before purchase he/she would have checked with tech guys first.

From my own experience, you'll actually get a more stable system at a looser timing rate than the spec of your RAM but, not slower overall.

My RAM are rated at 7-7-7-20 1T but a stable system runs at 9-9-9-24-2T
